Inspection & Testing
At Black Sheep Fire and Electrical we are able to provide packages to include the full scope of testing services; which could be seen as one of the reasons we are the first choice of a large variety of clients and customers.
We pride ourselves on having a dedicated electrical testing team who take pride in the work and are managed by an NICEIC Qualified Manager.
Our testing engineers are C&G 2391 qualified and also 18th Edition qualified.
This enables all statutory and regulatory requirements to be met and, furthermore, means that our client will be provided with a comprehensive certification pack.
The NICEIC have reiterated that it is in fact LAW due to the Electricity at Work Act which refers to BS7671 which is a Statutory Document.
The Landlords by LAW have to adhere to the Electricity at Work Act and The Landlord and Tenant Act 1985 regarding their Duty of Care.
A duty of care exists in Law to ensure that employers or members of the public are not placed in a position of unacceptable risk.
A full scheduled programme of periodic and systematic testing should be implemented as per Table 3.2 of Guidance Notes 3.
The Landlord and Tenant Act 1985 - "The Landlord of a property must keep the Electrical Installation in repair and proper working order"
All of our electrical installation work is fully Tested & Inspected to the latest BS7671 18th Edition, moreover, we are an NICEIC Certificated Approved Electrical Contractor.
